We always recommend that you connect your device with Ethernet (LAN) cable where possible. WiFi can cause errors which are difficult to diagnose and can often be resolved simply by using a wired connection. A wired connection is the most stable, reliable option and provides faster download speeds.

Most streams use the latest H.264 technology, offering the best compression and quality. The stream sizes are roughly 6 Mbit. However, when changing channels the H.264 protocol may bounce up, so a 12 Mbit minimum internet connection speed is recommended for SD channels and 24 Mbit for HD channels.
